Alex Hernandez founded Hernandez Consulting in 2005 after serving in the military and working in the private sector. Inc. Magazine named Hernandez Consulting as part of the Inc. 500 list of fastest growing companies in the U.S. At Hernandez Consulting, Mr. Hernandez manages projects for a number of federal agencies such as the Army Corps of Engineers, Department of Agriculture, Department of Veterans Affairs, and Department of Energy.
Prior to starting Hernandez Consulting, Mr. Hernandez was an executive at Citigroup in New York working in Alternative Investments, which included hedge funds, private equity and real estate funds. Mr. Hernandez began his career as a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps specializing in Logistics Operations.
Mr. Hernandez also sits on the Board of Directors for the non-profit organizations Veterans Services of America, Inc. and the Tulane Alumni Association. Mr. Hernandez holds both a BA cum laude and an MBA from Tulane University in New Orleans. Mr. Hernandez resides in New Orleans and Miami with his wife and children.
Michael Niemtzow most recently spent seven years as an investment banker structuring and executing deals for companies and private equity firms. He is based in New York City and, as a banker, has worked at Lehman Brothers, Barclays Capital and Moelis & Co. He has consummated transactions totaling approximately $10 billion for leading companies around the world. In addition, he has advised premier private equity firms such as KKR, TH Lee, Carlyle Group and One Equity Partners. His experience includes initial public offerings, secondary offerings and debt financings, as well as strategic, defense and M&A assignments including complex Reverse Morris Trust transactions. While at Lehman Brothers, he was elected to the Global Advisory Council.
Prior to working on Wall Street, Mr. Niemtzow served four years as a Surface Warfare Officer (SWO) achieving the rank of Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. He was stationed out of San Diego and deployed twice to the Middle East to enforce UN sanctions against Iraq. He graduated cum laude from Tulane University in New Orleans and received an MBA from the Stern School of Business at NYU, where he met his wife.
Gregory Gatto is a native of New Orleans having attended Metairie Park Country Day School, Tulane University, and University of New Orleans.
Building from his experience in management of restaurants and hotels from a very young age, Mr. Gatto went on to own and develop large scale entertainment venues and restaurants. Mr. Gatto has a diverse background in Finance, having worked as a licensed broker for a private venture capital group in Palm Beach, Florida and broker/dealers in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Mr. Gatto is currently a managing partner in New Orleans Redevelopment Fund, President of Gatto Investments, Owner/partner of Dish on First LLC (holding company for the Tacos & Beer expanding restaurant chain in Louisiana); he also manages his family trust and real estate portfolio. Mr. Gatto currently holds positions on the board of Big EZFoods LLC, the advisory board of Carbon Solutions America, and the advisory board of Onion Crunch LLC. He holds a BS in Finance from the University of New Orleans, with concentrations in Real Estate and Investments.
Development Project Manager
Ilse Stough joined New Orleans Redevelopment Fund in 2015 while studying for her MBA at the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. During business school, she focused her studies on Real Estate Development and Real Estate Finance and was the Vice President of the Tulane Real Estate Club.
Prior to business school, Mrs. Stough spent five years working as a civil engineer in New York City and New Orleans. She specialized in performing civil site design and stormwater management for various commercial developments in the United States. Mrs. Stough graduated cum laude from the Vanderbilt University School of Engineering. She currently resides in New Orleans with her husband.
Director of Development
Cullan Maumus served six years as an operations director for a New Orleans-based general contractor, and manufacturer of windows and shutters. In his role, he oversaw the successful completion of over 2,200 projects and managed approximately $9 million in company revenue annually.
Mr. Maumus received his MBA from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University where he focused his studies on Entrepreneurship and Real Estate Finance. While at Tulane, Mr. Maumus was the President of the Tulane Entrepreneurs' Association, and received numerous awards for his leadership, and service to the school and community. He holds a BS in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of Massachusetts, where he was a four-year starter on the University's Baseball Team. Mr. Maumus currently resides in New Orleans with his wife and two sons.

Richard Albert brings over 20 years of proven architectural experience to the projects he works on. He is a hands-on principal with a strong passion for design and an appreciation for value. He has found that most clients enjoy an active role in the design process and believes that communication is key to success.
Albert Architecture is a licensed architecture firm with experience providing both public and private sector clients with architectural services in both renovation and new construction. Albert Architecture ensures customer care through communication, innovation, performance, and reliability.
The staff of Albert Architecture is composed of graduates from Louisiana State University, Tulane University, and Virginia Tech. Our staff members are LEED AP, experienced in Revit and BIM, and geographically diverse.
